StakeClash is a next-generation competitive gaming platform that merges skill-based gaming with blockchain technology. Players compete in head-to-head matches, staking real cryptocurrency on the outcome. The platform uses smart contracts to ensure transparent, trustless payouts — no middleman, no disputes.
The client needed a platform that could handle thousands of concurrent matches, enforce anti-cheat at the protocol level, and manage real-money wallets without a centralised custodian. Traditional gaming backends couldn't provide the transparency players demanded.
We built a hybrid architecture: a high-performance Next.js frontend with real-time match state via WebSockets, a Node.js game server for match orchestration, and Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum for all financial transactions. Anti-cheat is enforced at the smart contract level — results are cryptographically signed by both players.
