Sendora is a mobile-first fintech platform targeting the underbanked diaspora market. It enables zero-fee international money transfers, provides a global debit card, and offers credit-building tools — all from a single app.
Existing remittance services charged 3–8% per transfer and had poor mobile UX. The client wanted to disrupt this with a zero-fee model funded by interchange revenue from the debit card.
We built a React Native app with a Node.js backend, integrating with Stripe for card issuance, Mapbox for branch/ATM locators, and multiple banking APIs for multi-currency accounts. The credit-building feature uses a proprietary scoring model based on transfer history.
